Nearly all the top MBA colleges in Mumbai ask for a Valid GMAT, CAT or XAT score, with the only exception being that of colleges coming under the University of Mumbai that conduct their own entrance test by the name of MH-CET in the month of March for its MMS (Masters in Management Science) programme, and Tata Institute of Social Sciences, which conducts TISSNET exam for admissions into its MA programs .

Once a candidate clears the institute’s pre-required cutoff, they have to score well in the GDPI rounds as well & based on their final scores they are offered admission into their desired college. However, in 2016 students who took the MH-CET exam had to only clear the institute specific cut-off in MH-CET to gain admissions into the MMS program.
