CELTA Course Fee

For CELTA India centers, the total course fee is Rs. 1,45,000.

How to Apply for CELTA?

You can download the CELTA application form here. Completed application form needs to be emailed to the relevant email id. The 2017 admission calendars for different CELTA centers in India are as under:

Once you have completed and sent the application forms, your applications are evaluated by the professionals at the relevant centre. If they are satisfied with your particulars, you will be sent some tests to further assess your language proficiency. Once you get through this phase, you then have to appear for an interview, which is the final step in the selection process.

CELTA Syllabus

Following is the syllabus for CELTA certification:

• Learners and teachers, and the teaching and learning context
• Language analysis and awareness
• Language skills: reading, listening, speaking and writing
• Planning and resources for different teaching contexts
• Developing teaching skills and professionalism

CELTA Duration

The duration of CELTA depends on the way you choose to take the course, i.e. full-time, part time, or online. The duration for different modes is as under:

Full-time: 4-5 weeks

Part time: From a few months to a year

Online: Duration varies from individual to individual

What is CELTA Online?

The online course is a combination of online learning and offline (face-to-face) teaching practice.

Every kind of theoretical and practical teaching knowledge is delivered through online mode. However, for lesson planning and teaching practice, you need to commute to your CELTA center.

CELTA Eligibility

To apply for CELTA, you must be at least 20 years old. You must be proficient in both written and spoken English.

CELTA Result

CELTA result is released online in the form of a Statement of Results within four to six weeks after the exam, for offline (paper-based) exams. In the case of a computer-based exam, the result is announced within two to three weeks of the exam. You can check your CELTA result by logging into this link.
