  • Wake Up Early

I am not well-aware of the direct rewards of waking up early.

But, the indirect payoffs- they are many.

  • You witness the most beautiful part of the entire 24 hours period.
  • You can relish your morning meal.
  • The ravishing morning sun- isn’t that a reason enough to wake up early?
  • You get enough time for exercising, walking, yoga, meditation, etc. which are less possible in the evening, for you’ll be worn out.

It is simple, If you are up early, you amass a lot of joy and positivity.

  • Start A Night Before

How my mother used to advise this while I was still in school.

But, I never got it. However, now I have a fair experience of how it makes my day a hit.

Now, I decide my clothes for the day a night before. I also pack my bag a night before.

And, even if I need anything in the morning that’s already put in the bag, I take it out, use it, and put it in the bag again.

How smooth it makes everything. The stress that those last minutes of hunting through the house caused me is, now, a thing of past.

  • One Motivational Quote

Waking up to something motivational can always do you good. There are hardly any exceptions, and absolutely no side-effects.

  • An Alarm Tune That Rejuvenates Your Soul

Setting a peppy song, from among your favourites, as your wake up alarm will make leaving the bed easier.

Make sure not to choose any saddening song.

I love sassy and foot-tapping songs for the purpose. It makes my mornings happier and brighter. I am sure it’ll work for you too.

  • Splash Your Face

Straight after leaving your bed, splash your face with cold water. Twice. Thrice. Four times. Whatever makes you feel up enough to move to other things.

It’ll part you from the urge of hitting the bed or couch.

  • Lemon Honey Water

  • Meditation

Meditation, morning habit to start your day right

Oh! in this stressful world, meditation is being talked about everywhere.

Experts say that it can be practiced at any time- morning, evening, noon, night, or midnight. Time rarely makes a difference.

But, if you do it in the morning, you’ll have a day full of gusto.

  • Set Priorities

First things first!

Figure out and list at least three most important things that you’ve to accomplish by the end of this day.

And also decide the order in which you’ll execute them.

This way, you’ll have a day that’s less messy or more organized.

  • Spend Some Time Sitting Quietly

If meditation bores you to death, try sitting quietly by yourself. Choose your favorite place in the house- balcony, terrace, or window side.

Make sure there are least distractions. Even if you spend 10 minutes like this, you’ll feel the alterations.

And this exercise is as easy as doing nothing, isn’t it?

And the people who skip breakfast, experts say, are more prone to many sorts of ailments and disorders- from the weakening of digestive system and heart diseases to fatigue and general debility.

That said, having breakfast is not enough, in fact, you must have a healthy and balanced breakfast. Starting your day with oily, spicy, or stale food is as bad as not having breakfast.

  • Forget Your Phone Right After You’ve Shut The Alarm

Once you’ve shut the alarm, forget about your phone. Do not splurge even a moment of your valuable morning time over your phone.

Because if you do not, you’ll end up misspending a lot of your good morning time on the phone. And, automatically, the time that you had to spend on better activities will shrink.

  • Make Your Bed

Naval Adm. William McRaven, ninth commander of U.S. Special Operations Command, said:

“If you make your bed every morning you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride and it will encourage you to do another task and another and another.

By the end of the day, that one task completed will have turned into many tasks completed. Making your bed will also reinforce the fact that little things in life matter.

If you can’t do the little things right, you will never do the big things right.

And, if by chance you have a miserable day, you will come home to a bed that is made—that you made—and a made bed gives you encouragement that tomorrow will be better.

If you want to change the world, start off by making your bed.”

I don’t need to add a word, do I?
