DU JAT 2017: Exam Pattern, Eligibility, Syllabus, and Admission Details

Delhi University Joint Admission Test (DU JAT) is a national level exam. DU JAT 2017 will be organised for admission to the Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS), B.A (Hons) Business Economics, and BBA (FIA) courses offered by the various colleges of the University. This article contains all the necessary details regarding DU JAT 2017.

DU JAT 2017 Syllabus:

The conducting authority, i.e. Delhi University has not specified any syllabus for the exam. However, the question paper is expected to contain questions on Quantitative Ability, Business & General Awareness, General English, and Reasoning & Analytical Ability. DU JAT 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with at least 60% marks (in the best four subjects, i.e. English, Mathematics, and two elective subjects approved by the University of Delhi) from any recognized board. In the case of SC, ST, CW, and PWD candidates, the minimum percentage requirement is 55%.

Those who have got compartment or have appeard for an improvement examination in any of the subjects will not be considered for admission in the current year.

DU JAT 2017 Application Form:

All eligible aspirants need to apply for DU JAT 2017 via online mode only. The application fee for DU JAT 2017 will be around Rs. 500 for general and OBC category candidates and Rs. 250 for SC/ST/PWD category candidates.

DU JAT 2017 Exam Pattern:

DU JAT 2017 will be an objective type paper. It will contain 100 multiple choice questions. The duration of the test will be two hours or 120 minutes. Each correct answer will be awarded 3 marks. One mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer. The questions will be based on Quantitative Ability, Business and General Awareness, General English, Reasoning, and Analytical Ability.

Reservation of Seats:

Reservation of seats will be as per the Government of India norms.

DU JAT 2017 Admit Card:

DU JAT 2017 Admit card will be available from the first week of June. Candidates can download their admit cards from the university's official website.

DU JAT 2017 Result:

The result for DU JAT 2017 will be in the form of ranks and names of the candidates who are shortlisted for further selection process.
